Subway Players of the Week (W10)

A Round-Up of Week 10's Subway Players of the Week.

Senior Softball:

Aliza Furman (Bulldogs)

Aliza went 4/6 with a double and three triples, 5 rbis and 3 runs scored.

Senior Baseball:

James Harman (Durham Bulls)

James stepped up to the mound for his first career outing as “starting pitcher”. James delivered an impressive performance allowing only 2 un-earned runs in 5.1 innings of work in what turned out to be an all-out defensive battle against a solid Charlotte Knights team. Every at bat, every pitch was relevant in this game. With his performance the Bulls stayed within reach and eventually won the game.

Junior Softball:

Razia Ghosh (Bruins)

Razia had an impressive double header behind the plate stopping balls and runners from advancing. She was successful at the plate with many hits and RBIs. Razia is a great teammate and leads by example!

Intermediate Baseball:

Corbin Constantine (Rockhounds)

Corbin went 2 for 3 at the plate with one RBI and one run scored. He also pitched a scoreless 6th inning to help secure the Rockhounds win.

Minors Baseball:

Amine Jaafar (Rockhounds)

Amine impressed with a deep throw from third to first for one of the best defensive outs of the year.

Peewee Baseball:

Keitoku Fujisawa (Grasshoppers)

Keitoku had a fantastic weekend with four line drive hits, great base running, making a solid out at second base, and a few infield stops, while playing positions he doesn’t normally play!

Congratulations all!
