Senior Softball:
Bella Boson (Tar Heels)
Bella was a defensive powerhouse this week! She stepped up to played flawlessly at 3rd to keep the Tar Heels in the game. Bella's leadership and encouraging words throughout the game helped the Tar Heels keep focused with smiles on their faces partly thanks to the team’s favourite half inning cheer "Bella and the Tar Heels!"
Senior Baseball:
Ben Anderson (Charlotte Knights)
Big" Ben Anderson pitched the Senior Charlotte Knights to their first round playoff win. The right-hander lasted 7 strong innings allowing 3 hits, 3 runs (2 earned) while striking out 4 on 103 pitches. Lola Tatum (Bruins)
Lola has been a team player the entire season. She brings energy, positive encouragement, skills and a winning attitude to games and practices. Lola had a great double header both at bats and in the field! Congratulations!

During the River Bandits win, Kyle had two doubles and three RBI. He also made several key plays in the field.

Kairos started this year never swung a bat or thrown a ball. He has been putting in extra practice time over the weekends with Jose, stays late to watch games and in general loves being at the fields. His effort and attitude set an excellent example to all. Worth noting that while playing catcher this weekend made a pop fly catch behind the plate and his hitting was very consistent earning him second batter in the lineup.

Clutch single drove in 2 runs. He has worked relentlessly all season to improve his skills.

Well Done all!
