A Round-Up of Week 3's Subway Players of the Week.
Junior Softball:
Thais Day-Martinez (Gophers)
Thais consistently shows up at practices and games with a positive and flexible attitude and is willing to play any position her coaches ask of her. Even though she likes to be silly and make friends with all the players on the other team, she is always ready and focused when it counts. She is the friendliest and most energetic girl on the field and she makes coming to practice and games more colorful. From Pitching, to shortstop, being catcher, or grabbing a pop fly for a quick out at our double header Coach Nina and Marlo, the entire Gophers team and DLL Jr. Softball league are happy to have her and see her consistent dedication and progression as a player.
