A Round-Up of Week 7's Subway Players of the Week.
Junior Softball:
Berrak Karipinar (Gophers)
Berrak is an amazing teammate! Her dedication to Softball and her team shows in her positive attitude, follow through on the field, and her consistency in showing up for practice and games. Berrak has become a leader on the team this year and her teammates jokingly refer to her as 'Coach Berrak'. She works on and off the field to excite her teammates and make sure everyone knows where they need to be and what they need to be doing. We nominate Berrak for her leadership, killer skills behind home plate as a catcher, her laser beam throws that you definitely want to hit your padded glove and her dedication to softball.
Senior Softball:
Sasha Klein (Butler Bulldogs)
Sasha Klein had a monster day as she helped the Bulldogs pick up wins against the Bruins and Tarheels. She was 3 for 5 at the plate scoring 3 runs with 2 RBIs. One of her hits was a towering home run. Sasha also played very well on defense making a key play late in the second game to help the Bulldogs secure the victory.
Minors Baseball:
Hendon Narrell (Hooks)
Peewee Baseball:
Jenson Foden (Tides)
Batted well - multiple RBIs with bases loaded. Strong fielding with multiple outs responsible.
Congratulations all!
